Homeworld 3 Catching Players Up in “History of Homeworld” Video

Time For Some “Home” Schooling 

Seems like it’s time for a galactic history lesson. A lesson which spans time and space. Players can delve into this award-winning universe and learn all about its origins and how we got to the point we are at. That’s right, time to step into the story of Homeworld. Today, Blackbird Interactive and Gearbox Publishing are schooling those new to the universe of their award-winning strategy game, Homeworld, in a history video. Importantly Homeworld 3’s new video, titled “History of Homeworld”, is a cinematic aiming to inform players about the story of the series so far. Of course, this means new players are in for a history lesson, while veterans are gearing up for a walk down memory lane. Interestingly, the video contains a brief summary with four minutes of cinematic coverage. 

Homeworld 3 places players in the middle of an intergalactic mystery. While tensions in intergalactic politics are rising, a threat known as the Anomaly emerges causing the shutdown of the famous hyperspace gates. Reintroducing players to the universe of the first games, Homeworld 3 also invites them to rejoin the tactical combat the series is known for. In fact, players will take command of massive battleships, lead squadrons of strike craft, and battle over worlds both ancient and new. Importantly, players will need to learn how to steel themselves in command as this intergalactic mystery pits them against many threats on a cosmic scale.

Homeworld 3 is releasing on May 13th, 2024. It will be available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
