Give ’em the 1-2-3-4 Punch!
Last year’s beat ’em up from WayForward has been steadily adding new content and features. One of the biggest and best gameplay features is now out for River City Girls 2. Today, players can now join 4-player online co-op games.
Before now, online co-op only supported two players. Four players could play locally, but are no longer restricted to one screen. Coupled with the previously implemented cross-play feature, PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch players can all beat up bad guys together. The holy unity of gaming has appeared.
Players can choose between six characters in River City Girls 2. Your main girls from the first game are Misako and Kyoko, plus their boyfriends Riki and Kunio. The guest fighters Marian and Provie, from Double Dragon and River City Ransom: Underground, respectively.
A new update to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions of River City Girls 2 is here: 3 & 4-player online co-op! To celebrate, we’ve got a brand-new RCG series trailer narrated by River City’s own resident historian, Godai (thanks, @Jacksepticeye)! https://t.co/PouSpYUAMH pic.twitter.com/EjTSUSzQKj
