Lady Hellbender Was Showcased In A Recent Cinematic Trailer For The Upcoming Video Game
Around June this year, rumors began to swirl that a Guardians of the Galaxy video game was in the works by Square Enix and during E3, the rumors came to light as Square Enix announced that Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy video game would launch on 26th October 2021 for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. In a recent cinematic trailer, Lady Hellbender was showcased and has fans around the world very excited.
Via the trailer, fans are introduced to Lady Hellbender, leader of the Hellraisers and Queen of Seknarf Nine. The trailer shows a tense negotiation between the Guardians and Lady Hellbender as they try to sell her a special toy, either Groot or Rocket, depending on player’s choice. It is clear that this interaction will be the first of many between the two parties.
The trailer also shows off some aspects of the relationship between Drax and Starlord, and seeing as the movies were quite funny, we can expect the video game to provide some humor as well!
Guardians of the Galaxy is currently available for pre-order. If fans pre-order the standard edition, they will receive alternate costumes for the entire lineup such as an Impaler skin for Groot, Black Vortex outfit for Gamorra, Team-Lord outfit for Starlord and the Thanos Imperative for Drax. Each costume is inspired by a character’s look in the comics.
If fans pre-order the Deluxe Edition, they will get two additional outfits for Starlord, namely the Sun-Lord and City-Lord along with a digital soundtrack and artbook for the game. Both editions come in physical and digital versions. The standard edition costs USD$59.99 while the Deluxe Edition costs USD$79.99.
