Today,  Super Evil Megacorp is happy to announce that their upcoming Switch rogue-lite title, TMNT: Splintered Fate, will feature 4 player couch co-op. Additionally, the game will also be making its debut on PC via Steam later in 2024. Interestingly, the game features a new adventure for everyone’s favorite ninja turtles and will now allow them to group up with their friends. Featuring upgraded elements, the Switch version of the game will provide players with new sounds, set pieces, and more. 

TMNT: Splintered Fate introduces players to the beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on a new quest to save Master Splinter. Featuring randomly generated runs, the game ensures that every time players play will feel unique. Importantly, now, players will be able to take on the roles of Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Leonardo together with four player couch co-op. Allowing players to play with their friends while experiencing, graphical, sound, and set piece upgrades. Of course, the game will provide the same random runs featuring random upgrades, enemies, boss modifiers and more. Importantly, players can also experiment with the different turtles and discover whose playstyle fits them the best.

Now, the famed Game Pass is arriving to a brand new platform. Today, Xbox announced that Game Pass will be coming to the Amazon Firestick. Importantly, this means that hundreds of games will be available to Amazon Firestick users, no console required. A press release from Xbox details the ease with which players can take part in this new platform. 

The Xbox Game Pass will be a new app on the Amazon Firestick. Obviously, participants will need an active Game Pass. Yet, as soon as the subscription is active, it is a simple as downloading the app on the Firestick. The Game Pass itself will be available on both the Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2023) ($59.99) and Fire TV Stick 4K (2023) ($49.99). Additionally, a myriad of controllers are available for use with the Firestick. For instance, gamers can use controllers like the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, PlayStation DualSense, or DualShock 4 controller.

Interestingly, the Xbox Game Pass on the Firestick grants users access to a huge library of games. From Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II to Starfield, and even Forza Horizon 5, the Game Pass crosses genres as easy as it does platforms.

Have no fear, players can chase down low level crime scum as much as they want and once a day can take on a “most wanted” target. Importantly, to chase down these scumbags, players will have access to a trio of new law enforcement vehicles. The first Super Monkey Ball game in over ten years, this new addition is bringing players back to familiar characters with more customization. Of course, players will be able to battle against one another, play in four player co-op and even go into an all new adventure mode. A trailer gives players a glimpse of what they can expect from the gameplay. 

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble reintroduces players to AiAi and his friends. An adventurous little monkey, AiAi embarks on a quest alongside new team member, Palette, on a quest to find the Legendary Banana. Of course, as the name implies, players will be able to zoom about over 200 different levels in adventure mode in their individual monkey balls. Each character from the diverse cast comes with its own upsides, downsides, and powers. Importantly, these differences in skills translate to the battle mode where up to 16 online players can go head to head. Yet there’s more. Obviously, a cast of characters requires customization. So, of course, the game includes ways to make your monkey unique. For instance, players can customize their favorite monkey with apparel, including clothes, footwear, accessories – even the monkey ball itself.

Creatures of Ava introduces players to the titular world. Full of diverse biomes, teeming with strange and wonderful creatures, the world of Ava is as alien as it is beautiful. Protagonist Vic and her companion Tabitha crash land on this strange world. Yet, beneath the beauty of the planet is a growing threat. An infection known as the “Withering” threatens to eradicate all life on the planet. However, not all hope is lost. Players will take up the role of protectors of Ava and work to save the life on the world from the Withering. Interestingly, this means players will need to explore the planet, its diverse biomes, and learn all about its creatures. In this adventure, preserving the creatures is far more important than catching them.

Focusing on providing veteran’s with meaningful work, C.O.D.E has the honor of placing 100k veterans in high-quality jobs. Now, they can continue to give back for Veteran’s Month. Today, the Call of Duty Endowment announced that Citadel Founder and CEO Kenneth C. Griffin is providing the endowment with a massive donation. Totaling at $2.5 Million, the donation is the single largest private donation that the C.O.D.E has ever received. Importantly, this donation comes as Call of Duty launches its next endowment events and a new pack: Knight Recon. A press release provides more info on what’s coming in game as well as a response from Kenneth C. Griffin. 

“I am proud to support our military veterans who have given years of their lives to defend America and our freedoms. Inviting players to step into the boots of a wannabe Pirate Legend, the game takes players on an exploration of a cursed island. Interestingly, the game combines metroidvania style with deep exploration and dynamic combat. A new trailer gives players a first taste of the salty adventure that awaits them. 

Mark of the Deep introduces players to Marcus “Rookie” Ramsey and his crew. Lost to a mysterious cursed island players, as Rookie, will explore looking for a way out. Of course, many dangers lurk on the island. Of course, some of them may even be mythical in nature. Importantly, Rookie must explore the island to recover his missing crew and save them from the clutches of a strange and nefarious figure. This stranger leads a cult who worships the “Old Folk”. Interestingly, the game combines its metroidvania style with cosmic horror elements and non-linear exploration, creating a new kind of adventure set in the universe of pirates.

Importantly, this presents a huge opportunity for both Ubisoft and Intel. In fact, Intel vice president Roger Chandler provides his own insights on the partnership.

It’s time for a frosty foray into a new world. Today, 11 Bit Studios is happy to announce the launch of the limited beta for their upcoming city builder, Frostpunk 2. The sequel to the  award-winning city-builder, Frostpunk 2 is inviting players to return the unique mix of narrative, strategy, and emotional stakes that make the game unique. Now, players who have pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game will have access to a week long beta. Importantly, the beta allows players to experience the utopia sandbox builder, at least in part.

Frostpunk 2 place players in the role of Steward of the City. In this sequel, the frozen weather has been somewhat managed. Yet, the threats to the city now come from within. As the Steward players will need to manage the citizens of the city, ensuring their needs are met. However, the concept of ideology plays a major role. Players will be responsible for managing the jobs, laws, and policies that make the city thrive. Now, it is up to the people to determine their future. As different factions seize influence, players will need to find a balance. Importantly, the main objective remains the same: the city must stand. 

Interestingly, the limited beta provides players with around 40% of Frostpunk 2 to explore. However, players should be ready as the scope of the game is much larger than its predecessor. Players can check out a new developer commentary trailer for a glimpse of what awaits them.

However, expect some corpo pushback in the meantime. Today, Mexico-based studio Wabisabi Games and Gearbox Publishing are happy to announce their Anime action-platformer, RKGK. Unveiled during The Triple-i Initiative, the game is set to release for PC via Steam in the Summer of 2024. Inviting players to a neo-brutalist world full of dystopian control, players take on the role of a graffiti rebel. Of course, a new trailer gives players a glimpse of exactly what they can expect from the game. 

RKGK introduces players to Valah. Valah is a member of a group of graffiti rebels whose bright existence acts as resistince to the dystopian B-Corporation. Interestingly, players can expect to jump into an action-packed adventure in a brutally grey city. Of course, the corporation isn’t going to take lightly to Valah bringing color back to the city. As such, players can expect to face off against a variety of minions as they navigate a dark city lighting it up with neon graffiti. Players can adventure through the city through sprawling paths and fluid platforming. Additionally, players can use paint to travel, build up beautiful combos, and unleash abilities.

Players can delve into this award-winning universe and learn all about its origins and how we got to the point we are at. That’s right, time to step into the story of Homeworld. Today, Blackbird Interactive and Gearbox Publishing are schooling those new to the universe of their award-winning strategy game, Homeworld, in a history video. Importantly Homeworld 3’s new video, titled “History of Homeworld”, is a cinematic aiming to inform players about the story of the series so far. Of course, this means new players are in for a history lesson, while veterans are gearing up for a walk down memory lane. Interestingly, the video contains a brief summary with four minutes of cinematic coverage. 

Homeworld 3 places players in the middle of an intergalactic mystery. While tensions in intergalactic politics are rising, a threat known as the Anomaly emerges causing the shutdown of the famous hyperspace gates. Reintroducing players to the universe of the first games, Homeworld 3 also invites them to rejoin the tactical combat the series is known for. In fact, players will take command of massive battleships, lead squadrons of strike craft, and battle over worlds both ancient and new. Importantly, players will need to learn how to steel themselves in command as this intergalactic mystery pits them against many threats on a cosmic scale.

Of course, this contest is Russian roulette with a major twist. Interestingly, a new trailer shows off what players can expect in the underground club. 

Buckshot Roulette allows players to go head to head with the infamous Dealer. The game of choice? The titular game. However, this twisted game of roulette is played with a shotgun instead of a revolver. Yet, the game isn’t always so clear. A changing roster of items alter the rules of the game every time you play. Saw off the barrel of the shotgun, take random pills, and more. Of course, players can unlock more items as they go, each fundamentally changing the game. Furthermore, for those feeling brave, they can risk going double or nothing against the Dealer. This frantic mode will test your willpower and nerves in a game mode that is constantly changing with randomized rules and outcomes.

A labor of love in development for some time is coming to fruition. A combination of brawler, shooter, and action game, this MOBA is perhaps the next step in the genre. Today, Omeda Studios is excited to announce that their MOBA, Predecessor, is now out in open beta alongside an Xbox debut. Inviting players to a new MOBA experience that blends third-person shooter action, adrenaline fueled combat, and strategy in a familiar, yet new, package. Interestingly, the open-beta is launching with over thirty unique characters meaning players will be able to find a character that fits their playstyle. Arising from the ashes of Epic Game’s MOBA, Paragon, Predecessor builds upon the ideas that were first presented in the bones of that game. Importantly, Predecessor focuses on using the setting of a MOBA to enhance the brawler-shooter aspects of the game. Players will be able to use a deep roster of characters who each bring unique gameplay and abilities to the game. Additionally, players will be able to experience all of the action of the game in Unreal Engine 5. Furthermore, the game is the only MOBA using Unreal 5. Of course, another important aspect of the game is cross-play. Luckily, players will be able to play with their friends across all platforms.

Interestingly, the game introduces players to the titular character, a self-proclaimed detective. However, player’s won’t be alone. Alongside their demon companion, players will venture into the labyrinthian consciousness’ of the recently deceased as they battle demons and aim to solve the mystery at hand. 

The Last Case of Benedict Fox allows players to explore a dark and twisting world as the titular character. Alongside his demon companion, players will enter surreal worlds that take form in the minds of the dead. Here, players will explore diverse environments and fight demons in the Metroidvania style combat. Of course, this adventure will help players unravel the mystery of a slain couple and their missing child. However, secret organizations, cults, and demons themselves will seek to stop Fox. Importantly, with the help of the demon, players will fight their way through these worlds.

Importantly, The Last Case of Benedict Fox’s Definitive Edition is including brand new content. For instance, players can look forward to new combat arenas, new quests and puzzles and a deeper look into the past of Benedict and his demon companion through new story content. A new season for a game means new updates to look forward to. Whether that means, new cosmetics to customize your favorite characters, new items, new maps, or more. Of course, Call of Duty is no exception to this rule. Today, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, as well as Warzone and COD Mobile, are happy to announce the highlights of season 3. The new season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is introducing a host of new content across all of players’ favorite modes. For instance, players can expect new content for Warzone, Zombies, and new maps for the base game. Of course, this season features the complete integration of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Mobile. 

Modern Warfare III’s newest season will bring a great deal of content to the base multiplayer experience of the game. Players can prepare to battle across six new core 6v6 maps in the base game. Interestingly three of these maps are brand new, one being a remaster and two others coming from Vondel and Rebirth Island points of interest. Additionally players can look forward to equipping new perk vests, boots, and more. 

However, the base multiplayer is far from the only modes getting new content. The addition of season 3 introduces new features to Call of Duty Zombies as well. Importantly, the Dark Aether storyline will continue. Additionally, players can look forward to new challenges including a brand new zombie looking to make it rain fire. Furthermore, Warzone players can expect their glorious return to Rebirth Island. Alongside the Rebirth return, new modes and ranked features will usher in the season.
